As sale deals continue to mount up ahead of Black Friday, Electronic Arts has launched their own sale of PC games. Origin’s Black Friday sale has some pretty decent discounts on some pretty cool games, including 42% off Mass Effect remakes, 50% off Command & Conquer remakes and even some games that aren’t remakes, like 63% off Star Wars Jedi and Squadron.
NS Black Friday sale at Origin the site isn’t very browsing friendly so I’ve picked out a few that caught my eye:
So a lot of Sim expansions are also discounted but I don’t even know where to start. If you’re Simming, I’m sure you know what you want.
Oh, EA did say that the Mass Effect remake will also be discounted on Steam. Maybe that’ll start when the Steam Fall Sale kicks off at 6pm today (10am PT). But the game still requires Origin on Steam so I assume it doesn’t make a huge difference.
My personal blanket recommendation is Titanfall 2. Sometimes it gets cheaper but it’s still great. Pay £6 and you’re in for a great time in a single-player campaign that’s both hilarious and full of sci-fi spectacle. The ideas that it runs with a single level may be the basis for the entire game but it eagerly limits onward without exhausting them. It’s certainly in a way that few FPS campaigns have. Good multiplayer and all. Also, Apex Legends is continuing more characters connected to Titanfall, so Apexeers might be interested in seeing where they all came from.
Epic Black Friday Sale is also being released, while GOG has Sale before Black Friday. Personally, if a game I want isn’t discounted on GOG, I’ll wait and see if it’s available on Steam.
