Sales of Shin Megami Tensei V reached 800,000 units

Atlus announced that Shin Megami Tensei DRAW Sales have reached more than 800,000 pieces. The news comes less than two months after the game was released simultaneously worldwide in November 2021. Atlus also thanked fans for their continued support of their franchises. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Information coming from a Articles Famitsu, in which the magazine invited a total of 60 Japanese video game companies to celebrate the new year. These companies include Arc System Works, Capcom, Bandai Namco and many others. As is customary in Japan, each company issues a New Year’s greeting card with special illustrations. Some also showcase upcoming releases and announcements.

Shin Megami Tensei V Sales

Atlus’s New Year’s card features Jack Frost along with Byakko, a tiger demon from Persona and Shin megami tensei series. This is due to the fact that 2022 is the year of the Tiger in the Chinese zodiac calendar.

Along with the New Year’s card, Atlus revealed that Shin Megami Tensei DRAW Sales reached 800,000 units sold worldwide. It also teases that it is currently working on a new, surprise Unannounced title. While Atlus didn’t provide any specifics, it did say that the Switch release of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim in April 2022 will be “beginner”.
