Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua? “Negotiations are definitely going on”

You have to admit – it will be an interesting fight. Although the Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder fight won’t be for the world title, it’s going to be a big event nonetheless. Joshua of England held the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight belts while Wilder of the US held the WBC world heavyweight belt. Indeed, a Joshua-Wilder bout has long been discussed, especially since every man is a world title. Since then, Wilder has been defeated twice by Tyson Fury and Joshua has been defeated twice by Oleksandr Usyk, plus once by Andy Ruiz. But here’s the thing:

No man can be wiped out.

Joshua, despite what some may say, has worked really hard to improve his ring game since two losses to Usyk. As for Wilder – the man may be the toughest puncher in the entire history of boxing. Fury himself, who has been repeatedly knocked out by Wilder, can also agree. However, there are other reasons why Joshua-Wilder fights are interesting. First of all, Wilder isn’t the only one who can hit. People forget how powerful Joshua’s hits can be – and how many knocks the boxer has on his resume. Furthermore, these two warriors were physically large, standing closer to 7 feet than 6 feet.

Of course, this match, as mentioned, has been talked about for many years. However, it is under discussion again, which makes it remarkable. On top of that, Wilder’s coach, Malik Scott, said Betting that the match looks promising at this point. “Nothing has been signed yet,” he said, “but the signing is almost upon us. Negotiations are definitely going on. Migration is in progress. The business aspect is definitely being taken care of. On top of that, Deontay is being looked after and will be paid very well for his services, and that is the most important part to me.”

It’s natural for fans to look down on all of this. The fact that Scott, who is clearly confident with the way the negotiations are going, is still not entirely convinced that a Joshua-Wilder fight will end. “I feel very certain that this will happen, certainly more than 50%. I’m 70, 75, maybe 80 percent sure this will happen,” he said. “The only thing that makes me doubt is because I know the sport I am in. I know how pretty it is, but I know how it can frustrate you at times of big fights. I’m not too excited.”
