Good smile company announced that they are adding the Ultimate Choice version of demon slayer‘s Tanjiro Kamado into the Nendoroid Doll lineup in 2024. This comes almost three years later. Original Nendoroid based on his Last Choice outfit was released back in June 2021. The film stars Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Kyojuro Renoku, and Giyu Tomioka in Good Smile Company demon slayer Nendoroid doll line up. You can also buy the dress alone if you already own a Nendoroid Doll figure. They will arrive in Japan in April 2024 and worldwide in the second quarter of 2024.
The Nendoroid doll comes with Tanjiro’s iconic Last Choice outfit, which he wore in Mount Fujikasane while taking on the dangerous challenge of becoming part of the Demon Slayer Corps. Unlike the regular Nendoroid, Tanjiro’s kimono and pants are made of fabric rather than body paint.
It also includes a mask, zori sandals, Tanjiro’s Nichirin Sword, which can be left drawn or sheathed, and four interchangeable hand parts. Since this is a Nendoroid Doll it only comes with a visor, unlike his usual Nendoroid Demon Slayer.
Pre-orders for Tanjiro Kamado Ver’s Ultimate Selection. The Nendoroid doll is priced at 9,000 yen/59.99 USD and is available in stores in the US and Japan until August 10, 2023. The outfit alone is 5,900 yen. It is scheduled to release in April 2024 in Japan and Q2 2024 worldwide, with no exact release date yet.
