Baten Kaitos I and II HD Remaster Add Auto-Battle, Optional Encounters
When Baten Kaitos I and II HD Remaster come to Switch, it will include some new features. Bandai Namco released a Q&A Go through everything one could expect. In addition to the remastered visuals and stable 30FPS frame rates, there will be an option to enable auto-fights and turn off encounters entirely. The company also confirmed that only Japanese voice actors will be featured.
Bandai Namco notes that no additional content will be added or removed. There will also be no DLC. However, the new features are designed with accessibility in mind. Encounters can be turned off or left on. Someone can choose to skip the cutscenes. The UI and menus will be clearer. An autosave option will also be present. There will also be 30 save file slots for each game in the collection.
The Baten Kaitos I and II HD Remaster localization has also been confirmed. While only Japanese voice actors will appear, Origin Baten Kaitos English, Japanese, Korean, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese subtitles will be available. More language options will be available for Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and Lost Ocean. In addition to the five options above, people can also choose French, German, Italian, or Spanish subtitles.
