Cupra Leon 2024 price and specifications

Cupra upped the price of the Leon up to $1700 and added a DAB+ radio to the spec sheet to help make up for it.

Prices now start from $49,190 drive away for Leon V and expand to $67,690 drive away for Western Australian customers to buy VZe.

The VZe plug-in hybrid is now available with the optional Leather and Sound package, which adds a 9-speaker Beats sound system to the upcoming Leather package.

Orders for the adjusted MY24 Cupra range will be “coming soon” for late delivery third quarter of 2023.

While the updated range will be available to order soon, Cupra has confirmed “a substantial stockpile of MY23 at pre-adjusted prices will continue to be brought into the network.”

Each of the four Cupra Leon variants has a different powertrain.

The VZ also use a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, but its engine produces 180kW And 370Nm.

The Vze one mate 1.4 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with one electric motorfor the total system output of 180kW And 400Nm. It uses a six-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and has a 12.8 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The VZx provided by a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 221kW power and 400Nm of torque.

All models are front-wheel drive.

The Cupra Leon 2023 has the following claimed combined fuel economy figures:

All Leon models require a minimum of 95 RON premium unleaded petrol with the exception of the top VZx which requires 98 RON premium unleaded petrol.

Leon VZe is good for up to 67km of the electrical range. Cupra provides customers with Mode 2 and Mode 3 cables for charging.

The Cupra Leon V, VZ and VZx 2024 have dimensions of 4398mm long, 1799mm wide and 1444mm high, with a wheelbase of 2689mm.

Cupra VZe 2024 has dimensions of 4398mm long, 1799mm wide and 1467mm high with a wheelbase of 2682mm.

The boot space varies depending on the model you choose. VZe has only 270 liters due to battery hardware, while VZ and VZx go up to 380L.

The second row of seats can be folded in a ratio of 60:40. The middle seat includes a ski gate.

Service and Warranty

The Cupra Leon 2024 is covered by a 5-year unlimited km warranty.

Maintenance is required every 12 months or 15,000 km.

The brand no longer offers three years of free maintenance, buyers can choose from three and five-year service plans instead. Priced three-year plan $990while the 5 year package is $1990.

Cupra offers its customers the option of their first Scheduled Service Pre-Service Plan.

Safety

The Cupra Leon has a five-star safety rating from ANCAP, based on Euro NCAP testing conducted on the SEAT Leon in 2020.

It received an adult occupant protection rating of 91%, a child occupant protection rating of 88%, a vulnerable pedestrian protection rating of 71% and a Safety support is 80%.
