Chiefs’ Travis Kelce claps back to Ja’Marr Chase after Patrick Mahomes . tease

Competition between the Cincinnati Bengals And Chief of Kansas City continue to heat up.

head tight end Travis Kelce was the latest to react to comments made earlier this month by Joe Burrow And Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals star duo were asked for their opinion on the best quarterback in the NFL, and while Burrow immediately named Kelce’s teammate and the reigning NFL and Super Bowl MVP Patrick MahomesChase was a bit sarcastic to Mahomes with his reply, “Pat who?”

“I think it’s a bit bold,” Kelce said in a recent episode of “A new level,” a podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason.”[Mahomes is] Two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. Saying ‘Pat who’ is like… I don’t know.”

Mahomes responded to Chase’s comment with a photo of himself at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony, showing off both of his championship rings with the caption, “That’s the person.”

Last season, the Captain beat the Bengal team 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game, after which Kelce clapped in response to some pre-match trash talk from the mayor of Cincinnati. That match marked the first time Mahomes and the Captains had beaten the Bengal team with Burrow center in Cincinnati, and allowed Kansas City to avenge a nasty loss to the Bengal team in the previous year’s AFC title match. The teams will go head to head in Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.
