The Chargers have only drawn 1-3 since then, and they have failed to capitalize on an AFC West that has struggled in recent weeks. Now the captains are hitting their stride, and if they get the momentum going, they’ll be a tough team to beat.

AFC North is also tightened like AFC West. The Ravens fell 6-3 of the season in a confusing loss to the Dolphins in the Thursday Night Football League, while the Browns were comprehensively beaten by the New England Patriots after a big win over the Bengals. The Bengals took a break last week, as every team in the league continues to struggle to pull out and build up some points in the next.

Roethlisberger cleared COVID protocol on Friday and traveled to Los Angeles separate from his teammates. He is expected to start the game.
