Football fans on Monday night

Week 16 brings us the penultimate edition of Monday Night Football 2021 and pits the Dolphins against the saints. Both teams are in the knockout stages, so a win is crucial for both sides. FanDuel Sportsbook is listing the Dolphins as three-way favorites for a modest total of 36.5. This can certainly be a defensive browser, but we’re not afraid to line up a FanDuel game. We saw just enough value to feel good about the chance to take home some DFS cash.

Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel’s single game competitions: The total score for “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn’t cost any more money as “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown competitions. FanDuel’s default score is Half point PPR and TDs pass four points, and have Are not bonuses for 300 yard / 100 yard matches as on DraftKings.

OTHER FD ONLY GAME: How to win a FanDuel game contest

FanDuel Single Game Choice DFS: Saints vs. Dolphins

$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5 times points): RB Alvin Kamara, Saints ($16,500)

The Saints are below the center of the Book of Ian, so there’s a chance they’ll scoop a little more work into Kamara’s plate. He handled 33.6% of the team’s touchdowns despite playing only 10 games, and he outscored 20 FanDuel three times. He’s a solid bet to make up for last week’s disappointing performance (4.1 FD points).

FLEX WR Jaylen Waddle, Dolphin ($13,000)

Waddle continues to deliver a solid rookie season. He’s gotten 10 or more goals in four of his past six competitions, and he’s scored double-digit FD scores in four of his past five. We also like the versatility that Waddle has shown this season. He has a quick touch of the ball to supplement the four points he has scored so far.

ADD MNF: DraftKings lineup

FLEX RB Myles Gaskin, Dolphin ($11,000)

Dolphins’ Duke Johnson ($11,000) also operates here. We’re using Gaskin as an opposition game after he was overrated by Johnson against the Jets last week. Gaskin has been used as a runner and receiver this season, receiving at least five goals six times. The Dolphins will eventually split the backyard work among multiple bodies, but we’re willing to roll the dice for Gaskin since he’s been cleared for two weeks on the reserve/COVID list.

FLEX WR DeVante Parker, Dolphin ($10,500)

Parker has been quietly playing well over the past few weeks, scoring 12.5 plus FD points in three of his past four games. Waddle’s arrival on the opposite side of the lineup means the defense can’t focus on Parker, and he will have the opportunity to put in another solid performance in his current run.

FLEX WR Marquez Callaway, Saints ($8,500)

Callaway is attacking nine team targets, and he will have a chance to handle another healthy target load. The highlight is that Callaway will let rookie Book throw him his passes. Trusting a rookie midfielder – even indirectly – can be a huge risk. We have no idea which Pass Catcher Book will suck, but we’re going to throw some eggs in Callaway’s basket anyway.
