Chadwick Boseman’s family is grateful for his dedication at the Oscars


The late Chadwick Boseman received many nods of recognition at the 2023 Oscars and his family is deeply grateful, TMZ reports.

Boseman was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, as reported by The New York Times. But he built an impressive acting resume, becoming famous for his role as T’Challa in Black PantherThurgood Marshall in marshaland James Brown in Try your best. Unfortunately, the 43-year-old actor passed away due to illness on August 28, 2020.

Chadwick Boseman’s Cousin Reflected on the 2023 Oscars

Chadwick Boseman’s cousin, Allen Boseman, is also an attorney representing the Boseman family. He spoke privately with TMZ and shared his family’s feelings about the 2023 Oscars. As well as the tribute to the ceremony for the late actor.

“It’s unbelievable how well Chadwick has been received by the entire Hollywood family and how his legacy continues to live on.”

Boseman went on to explain that the whole family considered Chadwick a “true king”.

“Although he has passed away physically, his spirit remains in the hearts and minds of his peers and co-stars on Hollywood’s biggest stage. While he’s a symbolic king in the movie, he seems like a real king to many others, including those in our family.”

Singer Rihanna took to the stage at the 2023 Oscars and performed “Lift Me Up,” an Oscar single. Black Panther: Wakanda forever movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rihanna co-wrote the song, which is also a tribute to the late Boseman.

Carter took home the Best Costume Design award for her work. in Black Panther: Wakanda forever. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carter is “the first black woman to win two Academy Awards.” Additionally, Carter is “the first designer to win for both the original film and its sequel.”

According to TMZ, Carter gave a “moving tribute” to Boseman and her late mother during his acceptance speech, asking the late actor: “take care of her.”
