Random: Anime Pokémon commercial in Tokyo showing Ash’s best moments before his final episode
we are near the end of Ash Ketchum’s journey in the Pokémon animated series and we’re starting to see tributes pouring in Newly crowned Pokémon champion and his companion Pikachu.
One of the most thorough tributes we’ve seen so far, however, comes from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, where an advertisement for the final episode of Ash is showing a feature-length film of human highlights. training before he leaves (thanks, @JoeMerrick).
According to the share of Oricon Newsletter, the ad plays in a loop of about 90 seconds and shows clips of Ash’s entire journey including every catch, evolution, and the final game of the tournament (among them many. much up to this point). The clips run the length of Shinjuku Station’s tunnels, so it’s definitely going to be a walk up and down several times to see them all.
Although you will have to make the journey to the station to see the full ad, @oricon_anime_ shared the following clip to Twitter, and it provides a pretty good idea of what’s going on:
The final episodes of Ash and Pikachu are currently airing in Japan, with the series finale scheduled for March 24. We don’t know exactly when these will appear in the Western world. West, but we will definitely keep you updated.
