Commercial Shippers and Breeders Association Inc. will be holding their 4th Deal or No Deal event at Keeneland on Sunday, September 11, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. ET. It will take place at Paddock Chalet next to the East Gate entrance, just a few steps from the sales booth. Keeneland will provide drinks and appetizers, and Live Racing from KY Downs will stream.
The event will question panelists about the impact of different X-ray results on performance. Participants included veterinarians, Dr Mark Cheney and Dr Bob Hunt, European snooker player Brendan Holland, 2-year-old shipper in training Niall Brennan and Susan Montanye, and trainers Todd Pletcher.
The Deal or No Deal series begins in 2021, with the first being held in Fasig-Tipton in July and the second in Keeneland in September. The series aims to provide educational opportunities. Educate in anticipation of sales in Q&A format with industry experts who share their experiences with veterinary findings in ponies.
