Straight No Chaser emerged this past winter and spring as the top sprinter for MyRacehorse owners. “As part of it, they did a PET scan and they found an area of concern,” Blacker said. “It’s light. The horse is strong. However, we think it’s a good time to give it a rest.”
He suggested the horse could return to care after the summer encounter at Del Mar. “He won’t run again until around Christmas time,” he said.
Straight No Chaser made $245,800 with a 4-0-1 record from seven starts.
