Carpet shopping? These are the best places to see

“Where did you get that rug??” is one of the questions I get asked most often. Carpets were the first major purchase I started collecting when I moved in my first apartment. Below, you’ll find my favorite places to look for rugs (which I almost always do). There are a variety of brands, prices and styles listed below, for a number of reasons.

Even if you’re looking to buy more affordable rugs, I’d still recommend browsing through brands that have carpets at every price point. In my experience, getting to know what’s available from different designers and at different stores is one of the best ways to know your style and what you’re most attracted to. I’ve found that if I’m exposed to unique and interesting items, even if they’re out of my price range, it’s easier for me to pick up great pieces at low-priced stores. than.

I hope you find these suggestions helpful and keep them updated for any carpet shopping you might do in the future!
