Bulls All-Star Visit a Knee Specialist in Los Angeles
As All-Star Weekend approaches, the Chicago Bulls will have to readjust to life without All-Star guard Zach LaVine.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, LaVine will leave the team to head to Los Angeles to see a specialist because of a struggling left knee injury.
According to sources from ESPN, Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine will travel to Los Angeles to see a specialist on his left knee earlier this week. LaVine has resolved the recurring discomfort and will undergo further evaluation. He’s still planning on going to All-Star Weekend.

LaVine is averaging 24.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, numbers good enough to claim his second career All-Star pick after winning the award. first in 2021.

What is Zach LaVine’s injury?
After playing nearly 37 minutes on February 11, LaVine missed the Bulls’ February 12 game against the Thunder due to a “left knee injury”.
LaVine played less than four minutes against the Warriors on January 14 before missing the next five with a problem in the same knee, despite MRI showed “no significant structural damage.” Since that break, LaVine appeared in nine of Chicago’s 11 games before sitting out against the Thunder on Saturday.
