One of the most famous actors of his generation has announced his retirement from the screen. Bruce Willis’ daughter, Rumer Willis, shares following statement on Instagram:
“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we would like to share that our beloved Bruce has had several health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia. This is affecting his cognitive abilities, so Bruce is heavily considering moving away from a career that means so much to him. This is a really challenging time for him. our family and we are so grateful for your love, compassion and unwavering support.We are moving here as a strong family unit and want to bring back our fans him because we know how much he means to you, just as you do to him.As Bruce always says, “Live your life to the fullest” and together we plan to do it. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn”
Aphasia is a cognitive condition that affects the ability to speak, write, and understand language. It can occur after a stroke or head injury, and in some cases can lead to dementia.
