‘Meade doesn’t send many runners in the UK these days’

‘Score 140 looks pretty good’
Camprond boasts some pretty smart French form on the field, winning the handicap over 1m4f by nine lengths with the 90 mark, which was his last run there in September 2019.
He has certainly been busy with coach Philip Hobbs in 2021, but is yet to come out of four of his first eight runs this year, including four victories to his name.
The improved aircraft owned by JP McManus showed its true colors when it landed in the 2nd Persian War at Chepstow last month. Then he watches here at Cheltenham at the end of the month more comfortably than 2m4f.
This race should be perfectly set up for him. He should be driven with restraint as he is much further away and should be able to take out his opponents when it’s his turn up the hill. Score 140 looks pretty lenient.
