Bell & Ross adds a fourth dial color, bronze, to the BR 05 collection, the brand’s round square case series with round dials and integrated bracelets.

The new one BR 05 Bronze brown the watch joins existing models in the collection with black, silver gray and navy blue dials.
Bruno Belamich, creative director and co-founder of Bell & Ross, explains: “You have to breathe life into a range. “It can be achieved through technique (motion), materials or details. For the BR 05 Copper Brown, we chose a color,” he added.
Bell & Ross introduced the BR 05 in 2019 as a contemporary version of its famous square case BR 03 collection. The BR 05 signals the brand’s entry into the expanding field of 1970s Swiss-made stylish steel watches with integrated bracelets.
The fawn dial of the new watch is finished with a sunburst motif. Crafted specifically for the new model, the dial’s color and finish required Bell & Ross artisans to micro-engrave the dial’s metal plate in a circular pattern. Then, the technicians applied a few more layers of transparent brown polish on the metal plate, creating a sense of depth.
Bell & Ross then added the same metallic color to the indexes, creating “the effect of a block of metal simply adorned by its sun-brown dial,” according to Bell & Ross. The hands, indexes and numerals of the dial are coated with SuperLuminova.
The watchmaker will provide BR 05 Bronze brown with an integrated satin-finished and polished steel strap or a sporty brown rubber strap.
Bell & Ross powers the watch with the Sellita-based BR-CAL 321 automatic movement. With the watch’s sapphire back, owners can watch the watch’s fluctuating weight with a design inspired by sports car rims.
Price: $4,600 for the rubber strap and $5,100 for the steel strap.
