Yesterday it was reported that a police officer testified that Megan Thee Stallion told him Tory Lanez asked Meg to “dance” before shooting her in the leg. That testimony is considered hearsay, as the officer was not present to testify himself, and will not be included in the trial.
But the explosive testimony – which was allowed at the preliminary hearing – went viral, after TMZ reported.
Well, MTO News spoke to people with close ties to Tory Lanez and they dropped BLOCKBUSTER for us. According to Tory’s attorney – An independent witness told police they saw Megan Thee Stallion and her female friend, Kelsey, fight shortly before Meg was shot in the leg..

And much more than that. MTO News learned that in a similar preliminary hearing yesterday, A detective who testified for this independent witness – who is said to have witnessed the shooting occurred – claimed the muzzle flash was off and was closer to Kelsey than Tory.
And it got even tastier. Tory’s attorney, Shawn Holley, said that The muzzle flash detail is “corroborated by gun residue found on another woman’s hand.”
MTO News spoke to a person close to Tory, shortly after the incident, who told us that Megan Thee Stallion was “drunk” when the incident happened. And she was so drunk that she “probably doesn’t know what happened.”
It should be noted that Megan’s friend Kelsey has vehemently denied that he was the shooter. She has spoken out publicly on social media, claiming that she was NOT the shooter. Kelsey also appeared to challenge Megan’s version of events in her social media posts.
