What is Anthony Davis’ injury?
Davis is said to have entered Friday’s competition with pain in his left knee. The star’s big man managed to get through the turning points before the Lakers’ game against the Thunder, but he wasn’t comfortable enough to play, being knocked out shortly before the game.
It’s unclear when Davis hit the injury, as he played 38 minutes in the team’s loss to the Grizzlies on Thursday night. While his absence can normally be attributed to a day of maintenance on the second night of the return game, head coach Frank Vogel floated the idea on Friday, calling it a headache. “significant” pillow.

It’s unclear how long Davis will be sidelined, as coach Vogel stated after the game that he “doesn’t know the next steps” because of his star striker’s knee injury.
