An auto accident victim’s hand was saved using a wartime technique, which included sewing it to his chest.
Martin Shaw’s hand was severely injured when his car skidded and crashed into an A512 near Shepshed, Leicestershire.
The 35-year-old Loughborough man thought his hand would have to be amputated and feels lucky to still be able to use it.
