Announcement of the summer and most unwanted game festival E3

It’s not E3 and the Summer Game Festival season, which means we should see a lot of new game announcements over the next few weeks. After all, it happens every June. Nintendo has its Directs. Microsoft and Sony organize their shows. A lot came out, and the rumors eventually flew away. So let’s discuss what we want to hope to hear and see this year.

Look, I know we just had a Fire Emblem game, but I’d really like to see a Nintendo announcement regarding a new game during the Nintendo Direct Non-E3/Summer Game Festival. We have heard rumors about Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War Back for it feels like years. It would also be great to see a Radiant path/Bright dawn remake on Switch. I just want more tactical time, please. — jenni

As a lover of little men in plastic spaces, I was hoping to take another look at Saber Interactive’s Sea space 2. Chopping an alien into chunks like a big chunk of meat from a man wearing half a car was great fun in the Relic Entertainment original. The return of multiplayer mode will also be great. — Elliot

Normally I don’t have high expectations for showcases like this, I just want to jump in and enjoy the ride. But this year I have a simple request: release date for Tekken8. I’m currently extremely jealous of other fighting game fans. Street Fighter 6 is out. Mortal War 1 coming out in September. I want my personal fighting game of choice to be able to join them. The character reveal is great, I just want to know when I can get my hands on the final game. Also, a trailer revealing Kunimitsu would be nice but maybe I’m asking for too much right now. — Leigh

Would you like to see an announcement announcing the Summer Game Fest or not-E3?
