“All of Europe’s power supply is at risk”… 30% of computers could be destroyed – Is it increasing because of that?

German Auf1 page here interviews blackout expert Robert Jungnischke about Europe’s growing threat of unprecedented winter blackouts. The experts are almost unanimously agreed that the blackout will happen, the only question remaining is when and how long it will take place.

Gas supply bottlenecks in Europe are increasing as the weather turns colder than expected. People are preparing by buying electric fan heaters, hoping they will be able to keep warm if the gas supply runs out. The problem, however, is that these millions of fan heaters sold in Europe will eventually burden the already extremely precarious grid even more.
Ready German officials are warning The country “will likely face an “intermittent blackout” in the coming winter months” as not only Germany but also Europe is on the verge of grid strain.
Based on Robert Jungnischke, a power outage expert and consultant, many companies and people are poorly prepared, or not prepared at all. So when the power outage arrives, it will be too late for them. The consequences will be dire. After a power failure occurs, the entire system failure it causes cannot be rectified so quickly. The economic and life losses will be enormous.

According to Jungnischke, citing electricity experts, simply restarting the power grid will destroy about 30% of electronic devices such as computers.
Restarting the entire grid after a power outage is a complex undertaking, as supply must match demand. Both will have to increase at the same time. Jungnischke explains:
After the blackout, the power was increased, but we ran into a big problem. The problem is there is no load. As I said earlier, power is tied to consumption and capacity is adjusted accordingly. I have a problem when I need to increase the power, but have not yet. That means strong oscillating power and strong oscillating power is death to the electron. That means experts calculate about 30% of computers will be damaged during the grid upgrade.”
He added that reliance on solar and wind power not only puts Germany’s electricity grid at risk, but also Europe’s electricity supply.
The economic loss from massive power outages will be crippling. The chaos will go on for weeks or months.
