Alhaitham supports EM Artifacts in Genshin Impact
In a way, Alhaitham is like every other Dendro character in The Genshin effect when it comes to Artifacts you want to put for him. All in all, if you want to run a Dendro character, you want a Deepwood Memories 4-piece set to get the most out of it. However, this effect occurs even if the character has an inactive set. So choosing an Artifact for Alhaitham depends a lot on who you run with him.
When you choose an Artifact for Alhaitham, you should prioritize: Dendro DMG, Elemental Mastery, and regular Crit stats. Honestly, you can also put everything into Elemental Mastery. This is because Alhaitham’s Dendro DMG increases every time you up him. So which sets should you try to go for? Luckily, both of the best Artifacts in his slot are available in the same Domain.
The best artifacts for Alhaitham are:
Deepwood Memory 4 PC
As mentioned earlier, you don’t necessarily need Deepwood Memories on Alhaitham itself. You can even put it on a non-Dendro support if you want. As a 4-piece set, using Elemental Skills or Bursts will reduce the opponent’s Dendro regeneration by 40%. Since Alhaitham’s set uses a lot of Dendro DMGs, this will always be a big boon.
4 PC Gold Plated Dreams
Dendro is a great factor when it comes to basic reactions. So if you have someone on the squad running Deepwood Memories, you can put Gilded Dreams on Alhaitham. In fact, Alhaitham’s best Artifact series To be Gold plated dream. You’ll have to think about what elements you include in your squad because of the Gilded Dreams buff. I personally recommend stacking Alhaitham with non-Dendro characters to boost Elemental Mastery instead of his ATK.
2 PC Deepwood Memories + 2 PC EM
If you can’t collect all 4 pieces of the above two sets of Artifacts, you can give Alhaitham a chimera set instead. Maybe you can get away with two different Elemental Mastery sets (e.g. 2 Wanderers and 2 Gold-plated Dreams). However, I’ve found that increasing the Dendro DMG from Deepwood Memories yields the best results.
In a word, Alhaitham is a fairly easy character to build. He simply needs the Elemental Mastery as he is completely dependent on an extra DPS to help him react or buy time for his long Skill CD. Friend Maybe build him as a solo Dendro DPS. However, even if you choose that path, the Artifact you will place on him is the same as if you built an EM-focused Alhaitham. There are literally no wrong answers as long as you cultivate the Flame Domain of Enlightenment alone.
