Adobe announces Creative Cloud Express, a unified web and mobile app for quick, easy editing: Digital Photography Review

Adobe announced Creative Cloud Express, new tools available on the web and mobile devices that provide basic versions of Adobe’s image and video editing tools, some of which were previously included in Adobe Spark.

Adobe description Creative Cloud Express is a ‘fast and easy web and mobile app perfect for a tattoo artist to share her latest designs, a clothing designer to advertise her latest pop-ups. Then, a student creates an interactive history report, a real estate agent markets her latest listing, or an aspiring musician posts about her upcoming gig. ‘

Creative Cloud Express looks to build on existing Adobe apps, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, while giving users some of that power in just a few clicks, without the need for any fiddling around. What is the learning curve? Creative Cloud Express includes thousands of templates and access to millions of images from Adobe Stock (with a paid subscription) to allow users to quickly – and easily – create something that looks good.

With Creative Cloud Express, Adobe continues to leverage the web as its platform. In October, Adobe has updated Photoshop on the web, added lighting editing, and full-fledged collaboration. Adobe writes, ‘The Web is rapidly becoming a powerful platform for creativity, and Creative Cloud Express takes full advantage of it to make the act of expression available anywhere, anytime, and to make things happen. easy collaboration.’

Using Quick Actions, you can perform some common tasks with just one click in Creative Cloud Express, including removing backgrounds from images or cropping videos. Following Adobe’s upcoming acquisition of ContentCal, Adobe looks forward to integrating social media management and scheduling into Creative Cloud Express.

Creative Cloud Express is free to use and is available at express.adobe.com, the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft stores. Free users have access to up to 1 million images and other content, thousands of templates, and dozens of fonts. Premium features, including over 175 million Adobe Stock photos, 20,000 fonts, and access to additional apps like Photoshop Express and Premiere Rush, can be unlocked for $9.99 per month or $99 per year. Creative Cloud Express is also included in the existing Single Creative Cloud Apps plans ($20.99 per month) and Creative Cloud All Apps plans, but it doesn’t appear to be included in the Photography Bundle, itself 9. $.99 per month.
