A friend of mine has a girlfriend who was constantly unhappy because she was scrolling through Instagram and seeing her friends at fancy restaurants, on vacation, or doing something remarkable. It became an issue and was fixed, but the problem persists for me. We all do this to varying degrees. We watch carefully curated content from the people we follow and then the culmination of all the images and videos is that we think the world is busy being great, and we don’t. are not.
