Adam Conover reminds us that self-driving car technology is probably not going anywhere anytime soon
Self-driving cars seem to be the way forward. Companies like GM, Ford, And, guava, Tesla dives into technology. But after a few hiccups, it seems AI and self-driving car technology aren’t the saviors. as Adam Conover shown.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel just over 25 minutes long, Conover introduces AI, self-driving cars and the companies behind them. And he doesn’t just spew nonsense, either. Conover has bills, especially against Tesla.
Starting at 5:54, Conover details how Elon Musk and Tesla sell people on lies of self-driving technology with Autopilot feature. From federal investigation into technology, in the face of one of the company’s engineers admitting that the self-driving videos were staged, people bought it. And some at the cost of their life. Conover reminds viewers that 10 people have tragically died using Tesla’s Autopilot in 2022.
Surprisingly, many in the comments agree with his view on AI Common with things like this, even with the brief mention of Tesla, will have Elon’s fans out of the woods to protect him. Not here.
