A new Qantas First Class lounge is coming to Heathrow’s Terminal 3
Australian aviation giant Qantas has revealed plans for a new first-class lounge at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) scheduled to open in 2025.
Completing the set of five for the airline, it will follow in the footsteps of Qantas First Lounges at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Melbourne Airport (MEL), Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) and Sydney Airport (SYD). .
It was built to coincide with the launch of nonstop sunrise project flights between London and Sydney or Melbourne, where passengers can travel between the two countries in 20 hours without any stops.

When the elite lounge arrives at T3, the now highly rated Qantas Lounge (located in another part of the terminal) will become a dedicated lounge for international business people.

“London is one of the most important destinations in our network and it is the perfect location for First Lounge, especially with our Project Sunrise nonstop flights on the way,” said Alan. Joyce, CEO of Qantas Group said.
“Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world, so we are delighted to be working with them to secure a great space in the terminal for an additional concourse,” he added.
So what can we expect? Joyce has promised customers “overlooking the airport” and unsurpassed dining experiences.
Phil Capps, the firm’s executive director of products and services, said executive tourists that Qantas frequent flyers can expect more than what the airline has to offer so well: “We know that all of our lounges feature a consistent feature of Qantas DNA, so you there are similarities in the experience. That’s part physical design, part service, part food and drink.”

The new T3 First lounge is part of the airline’s $100 million investment in lounge assets worldwide, including renovation work currently underway at the concourse in Hong Kong prior to opening. back next month.
That’s in addition to major changes to business class lounges in Sydney and Melbourne, where capacity will increase by up to 40% and seat around 600 per room.
