A little help for a colleague? – Watts Up With That?
Kip Hansen’s brief note — November 30, 2022
my favorite bone whispererDr. Susan Crockford, is writing a new book, which she describes as “the complete story of polar bear evolution, including the role of hybridization, but without distinction incomprehensible scientific language.”
With all the nonsense thrown in IPCC-Global Warming Climate Crisis kowtowing blathering press about the impending doom of polar bears, isn’t it wonderful to be able to read real The Polar Bear Story? It would be great if you could recommend your friends and family a book that unravels the story of the Great Polar Bear, from the distant past to the present, in an accessible way, written by A real expert?
The new book is still untitled but Dr. Crockford has one the long history of writing informative books for both adults and children. I—Kip Hansen—yes consider a few of them in these digital pages at WUWT.
But…[isn’t there always a “but”]…even for digital books, there are a lot of upfront production costs: for editing, compiling data, and formatting the e-book.
Dr. Crockford, for the first time, asks for a little help to cover those costs and get the book published early next year. She even offered a bonus – a chance to win a character in her next book. [fiction, I assume] named after them.
Give her a hand, from her colleagues and friends at WUWT. Lots of small donations add up just enough to get the job done.
