There are a lot of camera bag addicts in our community, and it’s easy to see why: they can revolutionize your photography experience outdoors. Of all the genres of photography that need the right camera bag, landscape is right near the top. This is a landscape photographer’s new favorite bag.
When I first started photography – a few years ago, I don’t want to admit it – I didn’t bother with camera bags. I have a baby – and I mean Tiny – shoulder bag and occasionally I use a regular backpack. It’s horrible, but I don’t see a problem with spending a lot of money on one when all they do is carry your device.
In the end, the amount of gear I wanted to carry around and the amount of time I was wearing it meant I needed something more suitable, and I chose to build with purpose. My first sensible investment in a camera bag was a Peak Design product, and calling it revolutionary for the way I work wouldn’t be an overstatement. Now, while I don’t have a wall full of camera bags like some of the folk around these parts do, I do appreciate the impact a great camera bag can have.
