PHS Automotive Malaysia partners with Moon Power – AC and DC chargers installed at three Audi Centers
At today’s premiere of Audi Q8 electronic And electronics GTPHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) announced that it has partnered with Moon Power – a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg – to provide a charging solution for e-tron owners in the country.
This marks the brand’s first entry in a country outside of Europe, and starting September this year, customers will be able to purchase the Moon Power wall box charger in 11 kW and 22 kW variants. from local Audi dealers.
Details such as pricing and charger specifications will be provided later, but PHSAM ensures that each Moon Power kit meets Audi’s charging and safety requirements.
Ahead of the launch, PHSAM revealed that all three Audi Centers in Glenmarie, Setia Alam and Juru are already equipped with Moon Power chargers. Each outlet boasts three 22 kW AC chargers and one 180 kW DC charger, available for private use by e-tron owners when servicing or repairing their cars.
Outside of these cases, customers can pay to use the Moon Power charger with their JomCharge credit. All Audi e-tron models come with a free RM1,000 JomCharge credit with a validity period of one year.
