Fuel economy Subaru WRX 2022 reduced when used manually, improved when automatic

When it comes to numbers, 2022 Subaru WRX Not much different from its predecessor. It has similar power and torque, and is similar in size. And now it becomes energy saving not much different. In fact, depending on the configuration, it’s actually worse than before.

User manual WRX still the most effective, but less effective than last year’s manual. In the city, it hits 19 mpg, on the highway 26. Combined fuel economy is 22 mpg. All of these are reduced first mpg from the previous generation.

On the plus side, the CVT-equipped WRX has improved by 1 mpg in town and highway for 19 and 25 mpg respectively. Combined fuel economy is 21 mpg the same as last year.

However, this number still trails the competition. Elantra WOMEN 23 mpg combined with the dual-clutch automatic transmission and 25 mpg with the manual transmission. It also has the same power output as the WRX, albeit without all-wheel drive. VW GTI, with slightly less power, manages 28 mpg combined, regardless of transmission. And the less powerful but still enjoyable and similarly priced Honda Civic Si is a fuel consumer with 31 mpg.
