Jesse Armstrong Successor Creator Has Huge Update For Season 4

At the 2022 BAFTA TV Awards, series creators Jesse Armstrong confirm with Diversity that he and his team of writers are “nearly finished” writing a fourth season. He noted that the American writers on the team had flown to his hometown of London, saying, “They’re a really great bunch of people to talk to about nuances of characters and worlds as well as what we’re doing on the show.”
After they finalized the script, Armstrong said they would share it with the cast to get their feedback. “It helps,” he explains. “They’re smart and they think everything about their character.”
Armstrong, who accepted Matthew MacFadyenAward for Best Supporting Actor on behalf of the star, adding that Heir stars often give “sensitive feedback” to scripts. As Armstrong put it, “He can do anything as an actor.”
