What could be better than SNL to review the energy policies of the Biden Administration?

As the Covid lockdown eased over the past year, people around the world have returned to work and play. But while demand for oil, natural gas, coal and electricity has increased predictably, President Biden has deregulated and super-regulated pipelines, leases and drilling permits. European leaders have taken similar short-sighted actions. Insufficient global supply leads to increased global demand and skyrocketing prices.
Regular gas costs an average of $2.17 per gallon in 2020 reaching $3.49 in November 2021, costing US drivers an extra $17 to refill their tanks.
Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm burst out laughing when he said: “If you drive an electric car, this won’t affect you.” Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg echoed her silly remark; So does White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
President Biden begged Russia and OPEC to produce more oil, siphon oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and ask the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the price manipulation of American oil companies. Meanwhile, his administration and its environmental allies continue to pressure banks and financial institutions to refuse loans to oil and gas companies and to refuse to invest in them. .
The less philanthropic among us might wonder if the Marx Brothers or Bevis and Buttheadgeek are now setting energy policy. Others can channel Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin, and their hilarious Saturday Night Live skit. The current event version might look like this.

But you only have to look at factual proof to realize that the climate cataclysms produced by Michael-Mann exist only in haphazard scientific computer models based on the bogus assertion that carbon dioxide applied to crops replaced the complex, powerful, nature forces that have always governed the Earth’s climate and weather.

If you still insist on buying an electric car, please think of the poor children and parents who have to spend a few dollars a day in the cobalt and lithium mines. Pay Fair Trade prices, so they can get a living wage.
