Arctic sea ice levels hit 12-year high in mid-August – Rising because of that?

According to Al Gore, based on claims and “science” from “top climate experts”, the Arctic was thought to have been ice-free in the summer since many years ago.
Now that the Arctic summer melt season is coming to an end soon, in the middle of next month it’s a good time to see how Al Gore’s prediction is playing out. To do this, we look at the latest information from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC):

It would be accurate to say that Al Gore’s prediction turned out to be on par with what you would expect from a rogue fortuneteller reading tea leaves and a crystal ball.
