Adventurer Recalls Prince George Eating Live Ant Like a “Little Hero”
Prince George can formally be described as a lionhearted toddler.
British adventurer and TV star Bear Grylls recalled the second the oldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton popped a reside ant proper in his mouth again in August 2019.
The brave second occurred through the King’s Cup Regatta (the inaugural crusing occasion hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), when the then 6-year-old’s grandmother, Carole Middleton, invited the Man vs. Wild star over to satisfy the prince, who’s a big fan. And though Bear went on to clarify that he did not “actually imply” to encourage George to eat an ant that day, the chance current itself and nicely—he went for it.
“So, we have been chatting, and he was down right here, and simply as we have been chatting, a stream of ants went throughout his toes,” Bear recalled through the Nov. 9 episode of Good Morning Britain. “And him and me checked out them—he checked out me with these amazed large eyes—and I stated, ‘Come on, we have got to eat one.’ And he stated, ‘Oh actually?’ and we ate.”
