Probably my favorite tool at the moment is the new masking panel in Lightroom. It’s a noticeable step up from the old masking panel, to the point where it has improved the quality of many of my images. There are many photos where I want to do certain edits but don’t, simply because the editing would be too time consuming due to how many photos I need to get out of the batch. However, the new control panel allows me to quickly and easily dial in masks that would have been tedious in the past, allowing me to make edits that greatly improved the final image. .
