Welcome back to another version of Box Art Brawl!

Before we dive into this week’s showdown, let’s quickly recap what happened last time when we ask you to choose a favorite design between two regional cover photo options for Beyond Good and Evil. This is a bit more intense competition than what we’ve seen in recent weeks, but the European cover ended up leading with 59% of the vote, while North America had 41%.

This week we had quite a bit of Zelda in mind (can’t imagine why), so we decided to keep the series at the center when pairing two different covers for 2007. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

The DS title has proven to be something of a divisive for the series, with many placing it in the lower reaches of their Zelda charts. It’s true, this may not be one of Link’s best moments, but Awaken the wind The sequel still holds a special place in our hearts — and we should all take the opportunity to watch Toon Link every chance we get.

As for the cover art, this week presents something interesting as there is a close overlap between European and Japanese design, both of which contrast with the design used in North America. Combining the similarities, we are left with a classic duel.

Let’s meet this week’s opponents.
