iMovie can be used for a surprising variety of applications, including capturing video captured on your webcam or mirrorless camera, adding some effects, zooming, transitions, green screen, etc.
Keynote can be used to create animations to explain concepts, for intro animations, lower thirds text, titles, YouTube thumbnails, and more! Michael shows you how to use Keynote and iMovie together to create surprisingly beautiful titles and text animations, something iMovie lacks right out of the box.
To record the screen, Michael uses Quicktime Player and screenshots. Together, these three applications are surprisingly flexible and powerful, allowing you to create high-quality video productions with relative ease, without the need to learn complex interfaced software.
