2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE | Rate first look
At the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, Suzuki unveils an all-new 776cc DOHC Twin-Twin engine that will power two new models – the 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE (and Adventure variant) and the 2023 Suzuki GSX-8S.
Filling the gap between the venerable V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 1050 models, the V-Strom 800DE is geared towards riders who want a fully capable midsize adventure bike both on the road and off-road. Like other V-Strom models, the V-Strom 800DE has an angular body with a pointed beak inspired by Suzuki’s DR-Big dual sports car of the 80s. Wheels measuring 21 inches front and 17 inches rear require tubes and roll on Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tires in sizes 90/90-21 and 150/70-R17.
In the cockpit, the V-Strom 800DE features a wide, tapered handlebar with bars, a 5-inch full-color TFT display, a USB port, and a windscreen with three levels of adjustment in 0.6-inch increments (hex key is required). bridge).
