$15K reward given to cruel person who left two emaciated dogs by the roadside

A huge reward is being offered to find the wicked or those responsible for abandoning two squalid bitches by the roadside in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

On Thanksgiving morning, the Portsmouth Police Department received a call about the dogs and arrived to find two dogs that had apparently been abandoned and starved for a long time. They are skin and bones.

The sweet girls are named Turkey and Gravy and quickly arrive at an emergency veterinary clinic.

Sadly, Turkey did not survive.

“Later in the day it was received that Turkey needed to be vegetarian due to her poor health,” posted local animal shelter, Potter League For Animals.

Heartbroken and outraged by the situation where the shelter says, “There is never an excuse to abandon an animal.” If people are having trouble feeding or caring for their pets, shelters offer programs and resources to help.

One generous person, who wished to remain anonymous, has offered a reward of $5,000 to anyone with information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible.
