Raw food. We have a girl who is very allergic and the vet did tests on her, there are no manufactured foods that she can eat. After searching the internet and spending the whole day making barley pudding with milk (strangely she’s not allergic to milk and barley is the only cereal she can eat! Can’t even have potatoes! west!), we went back to the vet, I took a deep breath and said what do you think about raw feeding? The vet immediately you can manage it? I said I can learn!! So we joined a raw feeding group and there we go! It’s actually easier now because you can buy it! I spent weeks, some mornings, catching a whole herring to give her, coming up with different meals, finding cheap butchers! Best thing we ever did for her! She lived until the age of 11, she had a terrible heart attack and eventually died of heart failure but until that point she had no more stomach problems and was as healthy as a tree. violin, always running with our other dogs.

Sometimes I feed my animals a can of sardines. I also raise supreme source salmon. Although she is thin. Occasionally she gets a piece of cheese. We don’t do well with another food for dogs with allergies. It’s the Purina brand. She has a lot of coat problems.

I would like to consult your veterinarian and request that a hydrolyzed diet test be performed. That means at least 8 weeks for hydrolyzed foods. No junk food, human snacks etc and no chewable heartworm/flea medication. They can then guide you through the rest. Also, schedule a veterinary dermatologist visit if necessary. Allergy blood tests for food allergies are unreliable. Only hydrolyzed diet trials are available. I spent thousands of dollars on my daughter’s allergies.

Years ago, Weim had an allergy and moved him in. The allergy disappeared along with his stinky ears and his coat became shiny and soft. Since then, all of my weims have been raw. Maybe investigate it for your Weim. Good luck!

Rosie will eat Wainwright dog biscuits. The dishes will be scrambled eggs, chicken and rice, all wet food will be chicken or turkey. We divide the chicken and rice into portions and freeze them.

My dog is allergic to beef, chicken, eggs, grains, wheat, fruit, any pet food from the grocery store. Got her tested at the vet. Turns out she’s allergic to everything BUT deer and rabbits. She can only have deer and rabbit meat. Sometimes I buy those from the meat company. It is expensive. The vet fed her hypoallergenic dog food. She was finally able to eat and poop normally. There are days when she has a stomach ache from eating Grass (allergy to grass!!!) So add a bag of fiber to her meals to ease her colic. Hope this is useful

Scientific Diet is a good choice when my Weim has allergies. It was expensive, but she ate it without any allergy symptoms.

Our Riley is like that. We did Limited Ingredients Salmon and Potatoes dog food or Salmon and Pea. We’ll add plain Greek yogurt for gut health.

Went to a dermatology center and got an allergy test… my weim is allergic to 14 different things… none of them are food. We also did the food test earlier. A lot of them are seasonal, but one of them is wool… so we packed all our wool stuff. That alone helped a lot. They also took us into Apoquel, for her it was a life changer.

Real food. My Weim has lived on a raw food diet for over 10 years, and now at 13 and a half I cook for him, meat, vegetables and he eats raw sardines and fruit, eggs, yogurt Greek… cheese

My girl has a mast cell reaction and cancer so she’s allergic to everything. The only food she can tolerate is RX Royal Canin Ultamino . It is hydrolyzed protein. We can’t even give her junk food of any brand or she’ll get very sick. She will do well with a small amount of bread tho.
