Yakiniku Simulation brings barbecue game play to PC

Refresh notifications about Banchou Tactics, The Secret Character has a lower title in the wings. Co-developed with Napas Torteeka, Simulation Yakiniku bring the experience of eating barbecue alone to the personal computer [Thanks, Denfaminicogamer!].

See some gameplay footage of Simulation Yakiniku below.

In Simulation Yakiniku, players are provided with the classic in-table grill for free, several meats, sauces, and vegetables. They should be able to grill the meat, flip through the slices to cook evenly, dip in the sauce (perhaps the usual mix of soy sauce, sesame, mirin, and sugar) and eat.

The action of eating yakiniku has proven a surprisingly fertile ground for game concepts over the years. In 2001, Media Entertainment developed Yakiniku Bugyou (also known as Yakinku Magistrate) for PlayStation 1 in partnership with the Gyu-Kaku restaurant chain. Players are tasked with preparing and serving yakiniku to the delight of impatient customers. Monkeypaw game release Yakiniku Bugyou overseas for PlayStation 3 users as an imported digital download. Next part, Yakiniku Bugyou Splashing! appeared on the PlayStation 2 in 2003, although it was still only available in Japan. Contrary to previous titles, Simulation Yakiniku focuses more on the dining aspect of the barbecue experience, seemingly turning the player into a solo eater at some anonymous yakiniku establishment.
