Wrexham were promoted to League One of English football after a 6-0 victory

The Welsh football team co-owned by actor Ryan Reynolds has won promotion to the third tier of English football thanks to its achievements 6-0 win at home Green Forest on Saturday.
It’s been a constant promotion for the team as it has become the center of attention following the investment of its Hollywood owners. It is two levels above the Premier League.

Wrexham’s victory was never in doubt as the team led 4-0 at halftime. MK Dons squandered an early lead by losing at home first Mansfield4-1, while Barrow lost Gillingham, 3-0. That sparked wild celebrations at Wrexham as fans ran onto the pitch after the final whistle, despite pre-match warnings from the club urging them to stay in the stands.
Wrexham came second second prizefour points behind the leader Stockport, also won the promotion on Saturday. The top three teams are automatically promoted to League One, and fourth-placed MK Dons can no longer keep pace with Wrexham.
Reynolds and co-star Rob McElhenney bought the little-known club for $2.5 million in 2021.
Last season they won the National League title to return to the Football League – three divisions below Premier League – for the first time in 15 years.
