Eddy Reynoso is without a doubt one of the most highly regarded coaches in boxing today. There is also little doubt that former heavyweight Anthony Joshua is at a turning point in his career. After losing and then regaining the title in a bout against Andy Ruiz a few years ago, Joshua regained his belt this past fall when he was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk, who had traveled to Joshua’s native England to face off against him. older brother. Joshua’s loss of his first title could be seen as, if not a stroke of luck, then a failure. Joshua clearly caught a cold by Ruiz in their first match. It could be said that it was something that could happen to anyone. The fight with Usyk was a different story altogether.
Freaking out and beating the titlist guard, Usyk spent his bout with Joshua last fall simply looking like a better boxer. Now, with a rematch not too far away, there are those who are wondering if Joshua can regain the title for a second time. There were also whispers that Joshua might be teaming up with Reynoso, the weight coach for the king of the weight division, Canelo Alvarez.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated rematch between Joshua and Usyk looks set to take place in the spring, although no exact fight date or location has been set yet.
