Shopping for denim can be tough. At Who What Wear UK, we like to scour the market for the very best pieces we can find and recommend, and sometimes that means trying on a lot of clothing, but when it comes to finding the right pair of jeans, it takes even more legwork. After all, there are a lot of boxes a pair of jeans must tick before we’ll declare them “the one”, and these requirements are different for everyone.
Firstly, we have to know the quality is right—good denim should last for years without ripping, fraying or sagging. Secondly, the jeans have to be flattering, and the right fit can be a leg-lengthening, waist-cinching miracle. But equally as important, they have to be comfortable. And what are the chances of finding all of this at a price that won’t break the bank?
Thankfully, we’ve found a couple of pairs that have delivered along the way, but there’s always room for improvement, and after a quick poll in the office there was one brand that came out on top for the best prices, cuts and size range, and it’s a high-street hero.
