I’ve always liked to wear light colors and lately I’ve noticed more and more pastel nail designs popping up on my social media feeds—this was confirmed during a visit to the salon. My most recent nail where manicurist Ashleigh Bamber told me that pastels are one of her top requests from clients this year. She told me, “Paste shades are surprisingly versatile and work for all skin tones. “I also think people see pastels as a ‘safe’ way to experiment with color when they don’t want to wear anything too bold and bright.”
