In addition, of France’s total 330,000 Jews – both French and non-French – about 75% survived, a much higher percentage than most other occupied nations. Of the approximately 75,000 Jews who were deported from France, about 24,000 of them were of French Jewish descent. All but a few thousand were murdered.
