A few people have checked out the White Lotus for good.
That’s right: Opening scene from HBO’s season two premiere on October 30 White Lotus confirm that many guests met their maker during their stay in heaven. However, this time, the number of bodies did not include the White Lotus resort manager. (Cries out one’s Armond season.)
The episode begins with guest Daphne, do Bold Type‘S Meghann Fahy, telling about her vacation to some of the White Lotus newcomers. “You’ll die,” she said with a smile. “They’ll have to get you out of here.”
Daphne’s joy was short-lived when her last dip in the Ionian Sea featured an unidentified drowning victim. To make matters worse, when the police began investigating the scene, Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore), the manager of the Sicilian venue, was told by an employee that “other guests have been killed.”
Of course, just like in season one, we still wonder who could be among the season’s two victims.
