Which trap heats up the longest? – Watts Up With That?
It’s not just how much CO2-boosting energy is diverted toward the surface, but how long it’s trapped that determines the warming effect of the greenhouse gas. Contributions from three heat-trapping mechanisms were examined: Greenhouse gases, heat domes and oceanic barrier layers and how they contribute to average global temperatures and extreme weather.
